This td. is situated in the south side of the parish. It is bounded on the N. and E. by the td. of Lisheenielagaun; S. by the td. of Kill; and W. by the td, of Cregnanagh.

It contains 54a. Or. 10p., and is the property of Charles Kirwan, Esq., of Dalgan Park. It is let to occupying tenants at will, in farms of from 1 1/2 to 9 acres, at the yearly -rent of 30s. per Irish acre. The soil is bad, producing only middling crops; there is no grazing. The tenants are all Roman Catholics. There is one ancient fort in the south side of the td.

When searching for a placename type some or all of the word and click search. If you are unsure of the spelling try a part of the word . For example the placename Mocharra sounds like Moharra so if you search for arra you should find it. For example a placename record ( eg Rostaff ) gives the townland ( eg Moyne ) and the civil parish ( eg Shrule ) .
