First Holy Communion Group

Check out the work the children preparing for First Holy Communion have done regarding the Jesse tree last week in the church porches. Share, like but above all please continue to remember in your prayer, the children preparing for First Holy Communion, their parents & guardians and families.

Prayer: Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen

World Day for Grandparents & Elderly.

Thank You Note – World Day for Grandparents & Elderly.

Just a quick note to say thank you to everyone who completed forms for the Book of Remembrance for Grandparents & Elderly. Unfortunately, the book was not ready in time for the weekend, but it is hoped to be ready soon. The book will be kept in each church. Every year, in preparation for Word Day for Grandparents & the Elderly, people will be invited to remember loved ones they may not have already included, who are grandparents & elderly in the Book of Remembrance. If anyone wants to include a love, and you have a form, simple complete the necessary form and return it to the parish via regular collection and/or via Shrule Post Office. The postcards were also a big hit with people. It is a great way for grandparents, aunts, uncles to reach out to grandchildren and/or grand nieces or nephews and vice versa. Thanks to all who took cards to do this. God bless, Fr. Vivian
